In this video I crush Tannerite to see if the pressure from a hydraulic press. I put on a very small tip in order to concentrate the entire force of the press in one area. This generates around 50,000 psi in that area! I talk about Tannerite and some of the chemistry behind it and also about the worst industrial accident that ever happened in the USA due to the explosion of ammonium nitrate, the key ingredient in Tannerite. Let's see if the pressure of the press is enough to trigger the Tannerite. If it doesn't, you will still see an explosion when I stick 2 pounds of Tannerite in a microwave and explode it.
