In this video I test if I will get shocked if I run current through DI water (de-ionized) using 120 V outlet then 3,000 V! The theory behind this test is that pure water is actually a pretty good insulator, it is only when there are ions in it that it becomes conductive. So, would I get shocked if I were to touch DI water that had a live chord in it? This is one of those experiments that I am serious when I say DO NOT TRY this at home!
