Somme awesome slomo shots of my home-built resonance machine! With a magnet, coil, and a bunch of slightly elastic cord, this machine can pump out whatever waves you feed it from a signal generator.

One of the most surprising things to me was to watch how a standing wave formed - if you watch in slow motion, the standing wave is actually the sum of the original traveling wave moving right, and the reflected traveling wave moving left. they cancel each other out in perfect time to create the standing wave!
