Notes-
Here are some electrical items I purchased for this project. I always encourage people to shop around, but if you use these links amazon gives me a small commission.
1. The clamp amp meter can measure very high DC and AC current without being connected to the circuit making is safer and easier to use.
2. Watt meter/Battery Monitor. I purchased the 500 amp version but I recommend you get the smallest one that will work for your application because you have to calibrate at 20% of the max capacity.
RPM sensor. You could also get one that shows mph/kph after clicking the link... shop around and see what you like.
Technical corrections
I later found I could buy a 9 tooth sprocket for the 3/4" shaft, but by then the jack shaft and limited space made the difference insignificant.
