In this video I show you a really neat experiment that lets you actually see photosynthesis happening in front of your eyes. I use spinach leaf disks soaked in baking soda that have had the air sucked out of them, then I shine light on them in order to induce photosynthesis. The leaves then make oxygen which makes them float in water due to the increased buoyancy. This video is part of the #teamtrees collaboration!
*recipe for water solution in video:
-1/8 tsp baking soda to 300 ml of water
-1 drop of liquid soap
