I helped a gentleman run a Wood-Mizer Portable saw mill and cut up some Walnut trees. These machines are mechanical marvels. Everything is powered by a hydraulic pump driven by a gas engine. There's lots of room for human error. The mill has a power assisted log roller. I learned that an intelligent setup can reduce your labor tremendously.

This is one of those cases where I've had the files on my computer forever and just didn't think it would be well received enough to post in on YouTube. After making the time lapse I decided it was too interesting to not post it.
