We grew a SLAB of mold on purpose

In our latest video we grew penicillin from a special species of blue mold. Instead of just growing as a nice slurry, the mycelium grew as a giant 4 inch thick slab of fungus.... that looks like an omelette. And this is what it's like to have to clean that up.
