I've made a few potato cannons over the years, and in this video I fire my favorite ammunition, VHS tape. The light, high-surface-area profile of the magnetic tape allows it to hang in the air for a long time, displaying the trail of the projectile you launched. It's really cool! In this case, the trail formed is the parabola of a "normal" flying object in Earth's gravity.
