Beautiful red Dracula Bella orchids in bloom Orchid care. Dracula Bella blooms has opened. This Dracula Bella Orchid grows in the heated greenhouse. Being in the purtho family this orchid blooms best with low to medium light, ( Phalaenopsis orchid bright but not cattleya orchid) and intermediate to cool temps. Very temperature tolerant, winter lows could get to 45F with no harm. This orchid would summer well outdoors if the humidity was above 80%, although it may not bloom well with the lower humidity. Never let dry between waterings. I have the humidity above 90%, average 90-98% with jumps to 100% often.

Temp 55F Night- 80F day

Light 1000-2500FC max! Bit Brighter than a Phalaenopsis

Note!!!! With brighter light my humidity goes up and temperature stays about 72f even on hot days. Bright light with cool leaves = better blooms. Bright light with hot leaves may = very in happy Dracula Orchid. My orchids are introduced to bright light slowly, never expose an orchid to quickly to brighter conditions.

Re-water daily

Fertilize 50TDS monthly

RH 90-100%
