Recently at opensauce I met a couple cool nerds that had built a device that uses electrodes to control your balance and eyeballs. It's called electrical vestibular stimulation and by placing the electrodes in the right spot and feeding in the right signal they can over ride your sense of balance, and apparently even control rapid eye movements.
