It's been a busy week in the lab so this week we'll be covering the progress on the various projects that are underway.

First a bit of streaking to test out the incubator we built last week and to prepare for upcoming experiments. Then onto a hardware mod project I've been working on focused on converting a cheap microscope to do fluorescence microscopy. After that we cover the progress on the spider beer project and run our first PCR reaction and gel to see how it did.

And for the 8 million of you that asked, we're officially restarting the styrofoam worm project.
