In my pursuit of nonlinear optics it became obvious that if I was serious about learning about high power lasers and the cool things you can do with them, I was going to need better mounts to hold my components. In this video we go through the first one of these which is a holder for my nonlinear crystals.
This was prompted by a visit to one of the femtosecond laser labs at U of T last week. Not only did I get to see their amazing setup, I also got to see what nonlinear effects look like for real. Thank you so much to Olivier for the invite!
